Abstract

In December 2024, there was m-to-m deflation of 0.14%, y-on-y inflation of 0.02% and y-to-d inflation of 0.02%

The main contributor to deflation in December 2024 m-to-m was the Food, Beverages and Tobacco group with a contribution of 0.16%. The main commodities contributing to deflation included cayenne pepper, tomatoes, kale, apples, and sweet corn.

The main contributors to inflation in December 2024 y-on-y were:

Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision Group with a contribution of 0.49%. The main commodities contributing to inflation in this group were grilled fish, satay, gado-gado, martabak, and oily pastries.

Personal Care and Other Services Group with a contribution of 0.26%. The main contributors to inflation in this group are gold jewelry and powder.

The Transportation Group contributed 0.07%. The main contributors to inflation in this group are minor vehicle repairs, maintenance/service, lubricants/engine oil, motorcycle tires, and car tires.
