Development of the Minahasa Utara Regency Consumer Price Index April 2024

Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Minahasa Regency will be 7.46 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.53.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 14.09 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.82 percent; housing, air, electricity and household fuel group at 0.30 percent; health group by 1.75 percent; transportation group by 1.27 percent; education group at 0.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 11.86 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.48 percent. Three other expenditure group indices experienced a decline, namely: equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group by 0.29 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.15 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group at 0.30 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for North Minahasa Regency in April 2024 is 0.13 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate is 0.96 percent.
