Abstract

In September 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in North Minahasa Regency was 4.83 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.81.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in seven expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 8.55 percent; the health group by 1.44 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.81 percent; the education group by 2.76 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 12.25 percent; the personal care and other services group by 4.03 percent. The other four expenditure group indices decreased, namely: the clothing and footwear group by 4.29 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.14 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.41 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.03 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate for North Minahasa Regency in September 2024 was 1.67 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate was 1.61 percent.
