Abstract

In August 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in North Minahasa Regency was 7.07 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.66.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in seven expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 13.79 percent; health group by 2.05 percent; transportation group by 0.74 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.06 percent; education group by 0.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 12.25 percent; personal care and other services group by 4.06 percent. The other four expenditure group indices decreased, namely: clothing and footwear group by 3.42 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.25 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.66 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.12 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of North Minahasa Regency in August 2024 was 0.17 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.06 percent.
