Abstract

In July 2024, North Minahasa Regency year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation will be 6.55 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.47.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in seven expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 11.75 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.21 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.09 percent; health group at 1.51 percent; transportation group at 0.66 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.02 percent; education group at 0.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 12.25 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.25 percent. Two other expenditure group indices experienced a decline, namely: equipment, tools and routine household maintenance by 0.58 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.15 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for North Minahasa Regency in July 2024 is 0.05 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate is 0.11 percent.
