Abstract

Conditions in February 2023 Manado Municipality experienced deflation of 0.21 percent, calendar year inflation of 0.15 percent and year on year (yoy) inflation of 4.83 percent. In terms of month to month (mtm) inflation, Manado Municipality ranks 9th in inflation on Sulawesi Island and ranks 74th nationally, while in year on year (yoy) Manado Municipality ranks 11th on Sulawesi Island and ranks 11th 80 nationally.
The biggest contributor to inflation year on year (yoy) in February was gasoline by 0.9775 percent and the biggest contributor to deflation was kale by 0.1559 percent
The biggest contributor to deflation on a month to month (mtm) basis in February 2023 was air transportation by 0.5269 percent, while the biggest contributor to inflation was skipjack tuna/fish scales by 0.1241 percent.
