Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) who came to Sulawesi Utara through the Sam Ratulangi Airport entrance in January 2023 was 804 people, a decrease of 29.60 percent compared to December 2022 (M-to-M).
Foreign tourists were dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 293 people (36.44 percent), Singaporeans 113 people (14.05 percent), Americans 44 people (5.47 percent) and Germans 41 people (5.10 percent).
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sulawesi Utara in January 2023 reached 35.83 percent, a decrease of 14.25 points compared to the TPK in December 2022 which was 50.08 percent.
The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) for star hotels in January 2023 reached 1.63 days, a decrease of 0.04 points compared to December 2022. Meanwhile, the average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT Asing) for star hotels in January 2023 reached 2. 13 days, decreased by 0.43 points compared to December 2022.
