May 28, 2025 | Other Activities

On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the Minahasa Utara Regency Government together with the Minahasa Utara Central Statistics Agency (BPS) officially declared Tontalete Village as a Statistics Love Village (Beautiful Village) 2025, while also declaring the Digital Village and declaring the Stop Open Defecation (STOP BABS!) program.

The activity, which took place at the Tontalete Village Head's Legal Office, Kema District, was a real manifestation of cross-sector synergy in encouraging data-based village development, service digitalization, and improving the quality of life of the community through clean and healthy living behaviors.

The event was attended directly by Assistant I for Government Affairs of North Minahasa Regency, Umbase Mayuntu, and Associate Expert Statistician, Sirly Catharina Worotikan, SE, M.Si, from the North Sulawesi Province BPS, as well as local government officials, stakeholders and community leaders who fully support the transformation of Tontalete Village into an informative, adaptive, and healthy village.

Through this launch, it is hoped that Tontalete Village can become an example for other villages in realizing development governance based on data, technology, and public health awareness.
